1What is the pedestal for?
For raised outdoor flooring.
2How many pedestals should I use per square meter?

King pedestal can be placed on any surface, as long as it is solid.
4How many kilograms does the pedestal withstand?

Any tile declared self-supporting by the manufacturer.
6When should I use the Converter system?
When you have a slope of the screed but you do not have a perimeter to support the flooring, in this case, you have to use the fixed base on the perimeter and the self-levelling base in the rest of the surface
7Why should I raise an exterior floor/what are the advantages of a raised floor?
To always have an inspectable floor and to intervene easily on the waterproofing, to lighten the structures in case, for example, of renovation, to pass cables or pipes, to have the possibility to change the aesthetics of the flooring without invasive work, to save money compared to a standard floor application, to avoid cracking of tiles as often happens in a standard-glue floor application, due to water infiltration and climatic changes.
8Can I use it indoors?
It’s not possible to use King indoor. No plastic pedestal in the world passes the fireproof test required by the EU standards for indoor raised flooring.

None concerning the pedestal.

Heat treatment at - 40 °C, heat treatment at 80 °C, compression test perpendicular to the surface, up to breakage, resistance to de-icing salts, resistance to sulphuric acid, resistance to petrol, resistance to diesel, resistance to chlorine, resistance to frost and thaw, migration of distilled water.
14What are the differences between King supports and other supports on the market?
The main advantages are: the possibility of having both the fixed and tilted version in a single element, head and tabs in bi-materials, pre-cut base to prevent accidental damage to the waterproof sheaths, tilting element with deceleration of the "Tilting moment", shims no longer essential, 130mm extra wide head, center of gravity always inside the support, rounded tabs to facilitate the laying of the tiles, more efficient management of the warehouse with considerable saving of space.
15Who is responsible for the calculation of the supports?
Our consultants are at your disposal, you just have to send us the drawings, we will provide you all needed information.
16What animals/insects live under elevated floors?
The environment that is created under the raised floors is quite hostile to life: dark, humid and with little air, absolutely unfit for the nests of insects that instead prefer dry environments, remember that insects or any other animal should enter between the joints of maximum 4mm, quite cramped even for a cockroach!
17Do I have to clean under the flooring?
You don’t need to clean the entire surface under the pedestals, just remember to clean regularly the leaf-guard located on the water drain.
18Can I eliminate the gaps between the joints?
Yes, it’s possible: talk to our consultants to understand our solution.
19Can I park on the raised flooring with my car or with a motorcycle?
No, the raised flooring is not resistant to dynamic loads, it could be compared to a class A15, pedestrian crossing. Any braking and restarting of motor vehicles could cause damages in all the elements, including the supports.
